Officers from Ghana Police Service’s Criminal Investigations Department (CID) effectively destroyed a considerable amount of illicit substances as part of a coordinated effort headed by the Accra Circuit Court and the Narcotics Control Commission (NACOC).
This action is part of a larger effort by law enforcement agencies to disrupt drug-trafficking networks around the country. According to Latif Iddrisu, a Joy News reporter who covered the event at Osu Beach in Accra, the devastation was carried out in accordance with a court order.
