Following the accident, Bishop Amoako, his wife Mouha Amoako, and a sales assistant, Linda Bonsu Prempeh, were arrested on October 15. They were charged with “permitting an unlicensed person to drive,” as Elrad was reportedly driving a Jaguar SUV when it collided with a 4×4 Acura vehicle, resulting in the deaths of the two girls and injuring others.

The Accra Circuit Court granted the three individuals bail, set at GH¢50,000 with two sureties each, after they pleaded not guilty to the charges. The police have assured the public of a thorough investigation into the circumstances of the accident, and the case continues to attract significant public attention as legal proceedings continue.
