Ghanaian Hiplife artistes of the year, Black Sherif, was arrested earlier at the Kotoko International Airport and whisked to the police headquarters in Accra.

The arrest follows Sherif’s failure to honour a show in Greece. The artiste had agreed to perform in Greece for a fee of $40,000 cedis.

The organizer committed $20,000 as part-payment for the artiste but Black Sherif failed to honour.

The organizer of the show then reported the matter to the police who put his name on the stop-list at the airport.

The airport security then stopped him when he was spotted and whisked to the police headquarters for further questioning and interrogation.
