Black Starlets head coach Laryea Kingston has acknowledged the challenge posed by Benin in their second group game at the ongoing WAFU B U-17 Cup of Nations. Despite Ghana securing a 2-0 victory with two first-half goals, Kingston emphasized that the match was far from easy.
In a post-match statement, Kingston described the encounter as “very difficult,” contrary to expectations that it would be a straightforward fixture. He credited the team’s awareness of Benin’s playing style, gained from observing their match against Cote d’Ivoire, as a crucial factor in navigating the tough contest.
