Many applicants at the Registrar General’s Department in Accra were left frustrated as they attempted to register or renew their businesses amidst an industrial action by members of the Civil and Local Government Staff Association Ghana (CLOGSAG).
The association’s strike, driven by the government’s failure to implement a new salary structure agreed upon with the Fair Wages and Salaries Commission, disrupted services at the department.

Frustrated applicants voiced their concerns to Channel One News, recounting their experiences of arriving to find operations halted due to the strike.
They expressed bewilderment at the government’s prolonged delay in resolving pension issues affecting RSGs and other Ministries, which led to the strike.
Urging swift government intervention, they emphasized the need for a resolution to allow businesses to continue without further disruption.
