Bridget Otoo, a journalist for Metro TV, has been sued for defamation by Nana Appiah Mensah, popularly known as Nam1, the CEO of Menzgold, a now-defunct gold dealership company in Ghana.

In addition, he’s demanding that she pay him a massive one million Ghanaian cedis as reparations for damaging his reputation.

A writ of summons sighted by Tednewsgh.com, indicates that Bridget Otoo has just one week to reply to the lawsuit and show up in court.

A few years ago, Bridget Otoo tweeted that although Akuapem Poloo, who only posted nude pictures of herself and her son, was being punished by the court, Nana Appiah Mensah was walking the streets free because he was “connected.”

NAM1 is still free and doing Instagram post. A man described by the state as a scammer. A man whose actions has killed people, rendered thousands jobless and some are at the point of suicide! He’s free cos he’s connected! #AkuapemPoloo,” she wrote on X formerly known as Twitter.

NAM 1 responded, demanding that the media star cease distorting his legal issues in her public remarks and that she accept my acquittal and discharge even though I was in a foreign country—a decision upheld by the Supreme Court and the Appeals Court. Just so you know, my grandmother wasn’t the one in charge.
