Sarah Adwoa Safo, the current member of parliament for the Dome-Kwabenya Constituency, expressed confidence in her ability to win over NPP delegates at the next primaries and Dome Kwabenya voters on December 7, 2024, the day of the general elections.
She is optimistic because she thinks that, in spite of her past failures, the delegates will select her to represent the party in the 2024 parliamentary elections.

She said in an interview that she felt the electorate had forgiven her and that she had apologized to the people of Dome-Kwabenya for her wrongdoings.
“It takes a woman of courage, it takes a courageous politician to accept that I have done something wrong, forgive me and that is what has touched the hearts of the people of Dome-Kwabenya and I know that they will still vote for me into power,” she said.
Recall that after a protracted absence from parliamentary and other official obligations, Adwoa Safo and the New Patriotic Party leadership were at odds.
Additionally, a few NPP executives from the constituency had previously declared that they would not back Sarah Adwoa Safo in her attempt to run for the seat again on the party ticket.
