Dr. Peter Boamah Otokunor Announces his intention to contest for the position of GENERAL SECRETARY of the main opposition party, NDC.
Ahead of the NDC’s internal elections, Dr. Otokunor took to his Facebook page in a Facebook live video on 6th October 2022 to announce his intention to contest the party’s General secretary position.
He assured the party faithful and the grassroots of selfless leadership.

The politician has served in different capacities of the party including; Deputy campaign manager for the 2020 elections, Two-term member of the NDC national communication team, secretary to the 2016 NDC manifesto committee, and recently as the Deputy General secretary of the party.
In student leadership, he was the JCR President of Commonwealth Hall and also served on the Residence Board of the university of Ghana, he was also the Vice President of the then Ghana association of Agricultural students.
He recently graduated with a PhD in Agricultural Economics from the university of Ghana.
