‘Drogba’ Experiencing Visual Impairment: Family Appeals for Urgent Assistance

Hannah Mensah, the sister of renowned actor John Peasah, famously known as Drogba from the YOLO series, sheds light on her brother’s health challenges following his diagnosis with a Demyelinating Disease.

Drogba’s health struggles began during a scene shoot in the final season of YOLO, where he experienced double vision and sensitivity to light, making him unable to tolerate daylight or flashing lights.

Providing updates on his current condition, Hannah revealed that Drogba remains confined to his home, undergoing regular medical treatments.

Medical professionals have conducted various tests, including eye fluid extractions, to pinpoint the underlying cause of his symptoms, awaiting results.

“Drogba requires weekly hospital visits for check-ups,” Hannah disclosed. “He depends on consistent medication to alleviate nerve-related discomfort and faces challenges in performing daily tasks independently.”

As the family awaits test results to determine the next steps in his treatment, they are actively seeking financial assistance to aid Drogba in his ongoing battle with his health crisis.
