The leadership of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church,Ghana (EPCG) paid a courtesy call on the Vice President of the Republic of Ghana at the jubilee house led by the Moderator,Rt.Rev.Dr.Lt.Col.Bliss Divine Kofi Agbeko (Rtd) on Wednesday,22nd February,2023.

The delegation were there to express appreciation and gratitude for the active participation of the Vice President in the launch of the church’s 175th Anniversary celebrations, and to pray for the nation.
The Vice President speaking,he said
“Harmonious religious diversity and acceptance is vital for our nation’s development. I commend the leadership of the EP Church, and all religious leaders, for their continued efforts in nation-building.”
The Moderator presented an honorary symbol as their token of appreciation to the vice president,Dr.Maumudu Bawumia.

The Moderator was accompanied by the Clerk of the church,Rev.Dr.L.K Dzanku, the Presbyter Executive,Pr.Sitsofe Sakyi, the Director of Programs of the church,Rev.E.E.Attu and the chairperson of the central Anniversary planning committee,Pr.Lydia Adadzawa and some leading members of the church.

The EPCG was founded on 14th November,1847 by Bremen Missionaries led by the Rev.Lorenz Wolf.
The church continues to grow from strength to strength.
