The Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) has restored power supply to the Accra Academy after disconnecting it on Monday, February 19, 2024. The disconnection was a result of an unpaid debt amounting to GH¢400,000.

Sources within the ECG have indicated that the government has allocated GH¢5 million to settle outstanding debts owed by Second Cycle institutions, which includes the Accra Academy.
