Everton planning to make a move for Kamaldeen Sulemana in January

Everton is interested in signing Ghanaian winger Kamaldeen Sulemana from French club Stade Rennais during the winter transfer window.

This season, the 20-year-old has grown frustrated with his lack of playing time at Rennais, which has prompted him to look into leaving the club.

The Ghanaian winger saw action for just eight minutes on Sunday as Rennais defeated Paris Saint-German.

Sulemana joined Rennais in the summer of 2021 from FC Nordsjaelland and was a crucial component in the team’s season-ending qualification for the European League.

Everton is reportedly interested in the gifted ghanaian winger, according to transfer expert fabrizio romano. In the meantime, AFC bournemouth and bundesliga team Augsburg are also considering signing him.

As Ghana was eliminated from the group stage, Sulemana, who was anticipated to perform exceptionally at the World Cup, played less than 60 minutes due to injuries.

Despite spending so little time on the field, he still finished the competition as the fastest player.

With a run of 22.18 mph against Uruguay, Sulemana set the record for the fastest speed during the tournament in Qatar.

He outran Nico Williams (22.12 mph), David Raum (22.00 mph), Antonee Robinson (21.99 mph), and Daniel James (21.99 mph) to win the title of fastest at the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
