The family of 24-year-old Lois Abena Koranteng is seeking justice and calling for a thorough investigation into the circumstances surrounding her untimely death on June 8, 2024.
Lois, a recent Petroleum Engineering graduate from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), was reported to have checked into a hotel in Anaji, located in the Western Region, accompanied by her boss and the company driver.
The following day, her lifeless body was discovered floating in the hotel’s swimming pool in the early hours of the morning. Shockingly, there were no visible signs of injury on her body.

Grieving and outraged, the family believes that Lois was murdered and wants answers about how she ended up in the pool under mysterious circumstances.
Despite numerous questions raised by the family, the hotel management has remained largely silent on the matter, merely claiming that there was no foul play involved. However, the CCTV camera at the hotel was allegedly not functioning at the time of the incident, further fueling the family’s suspicions.

“We want justice for our daughter. There are too many unanswered questions, and the hotel’s response has only raised more concerns,” said the distraught family members, who have now launched a public protest to demand a comprehensive investigation into Lois’ death.
