African fans have warned Vincent Aboubakar not to join Premier League giants Manchester United in the January transfer window.
The 30-year-old Cameroonian forward has been linked with a loan move to Old Trafford, but fans are opposed to the move following the tragic playing time of Odion Ighalo.
According to reports from Saudi Arabia, the Red Devils are interested in signing the 30-year-old Cameroon international and Al Nassr forward on a short-term loan until the end of the current season.
However, the news was met with mixed reactions across the continent, with the majority of fans warning Aboubakar, who scored two goals for the Indomitable Lions at the World Cup finals in Qatar.
While some believe he can be a good replacement for Anthony Martial, others believe he should consult Nigerian forward Odion Ighalo before making the move. Ighalo made 12 appearances for Manchester United in the 2020-21 season.
