The Food and Drugs Authority (FDA) has issued a public warning on the presence of an unregistered bottled water called SLIMFIT mineral water on the market.
In a press statement issued on Friday, January 19, the FDA stated that the officially recognized brand is SLEMFIT (mineral water and purified water), which is manufactured by Twellium Industrial Company Limited.
In a statement, the FDA’s Chief Executive Officer assured the public that surveillance teams are aggressively monitoring markets to remove unregistered SLIMFIT mineral water from circulation and identify the producers and distributors.

The statement stressed that the safety and quality of unregistered products, such as SLIMFIT mineral water, cannot be guaranteed.
Consumers were warned not to acquire or consume unregistered products, and the statement advocated caution while purchasing packaged foods. Any suspect products should be submitted to the FDA for proper regulatory action.
“The public is encouraged to offer any pertinent information to aid the FDA. Please direct all issues and communication regarding the aforementioned to the following contacts,” the statement read.
