Michael Owusu Afriyie, also known as Teacher Kwadwo, a Ghanaian comedian and professional teacher, has stated that he has been fired by the Ghana Education Service.
In a post on Saturday, December 18, 2021, Teacher Kwadwo revealed that the substance of a letter he received from the GES district office cites him for some wrongdoing, leading to his dismissal.
The reasons for his dismissal were described as amusing, and he warned of a long battle between himself and the GES.
Teacher Kwadwo slammed the Ghana Educational Service on Friday, December 17, 2021, for what he sees as poor planning in the implementation of the National Standard Test by primary four students.
Teacher Kwadwo chastised the administration on social media and questioned its commitment to providing high-quality education.
