5G will bring faster internet speeds, lower latency, and enhanced connectivity, providing up to 10 times the speed of current 4G Plus services. The initiative is expected to revolutionize sectors like healthcare, education, and finance, significantly boosting Ghana’s digital infrastructure.
Collaborating with seven key industry partners through a shared infrastructure initiative, the government aims to ensure affordable access to high-speed mobile broadband services across the country. This partnership involves firms such as Ascend Digital, K-NET, Radisys, Nokia, Tech Mahindra, AT Ghana, and Telecel Ghana.
The introduction of 5G is poised to reshape how businesses operate and how Ghanaians interact with the digital world, offering greater opportunities for innovation and economic growth.
