Guru is actively pursuing his ambition to become the next SRC president at the University of Ghana, Legon.
The Ghanaian rapper, currently enrolled in Political Science and Information Studies at the prestigious institution, has recently announced his candidacy for student leadership. Guru aims to address various challenges faced by students through his campaign.
In a bid to strengthen his political aspirations, Guru shared a post on social media welcoming students back to campus for the new semester. Dressed in a suit, he captioned the post with a message of positivity and enthusiasm, signifying his commitment to the role of UGSRC President Hopeful for 2024.
During an interview with TV3, Guru emphasized the importance of providing practical solutions to the prevalent issues confronting students at the university.

“As a third-year student studying Political Science and Information Studies at the University of Ghana, I have observed the challenges faced by students and understand the kind of leadership they desire,” Guru stated.
Among his proposed initiatives, Guru highlighted the establishment of Legon Television, aiming to offer students an alternative media platform. He also emphasized the need to improve campus transportation services by increasing the number of buses and introducing recreational activities to alleviate student stress.
“I believe in bringing innovative solutions to the table. Students are eager for change, and I am committed to delivering tangible improvements that will enhance the overall student experience at the University of Ghana,” Guru concluded.
