Hajia4Real, aka Mona Faiz Montrage, has acknowledged that she was involved in the money laundering process involving a series of false romantic scams.
Before U.S. Magistrate Judge Sarah L. Cave today, she pleaded guilty to the allegation of conspiracy to accept stolen money.
The Ghanaian celebrity, 31, entered a plea of guilty to one count of conspiracy to receive stolen property, which carries a possible five-year jail sentence.
Furthermore, Montrage has agreed to forfeit and make good on the equivalent sum of $2,164,758.41.

Hajia4Real’s legal counsel was replaced in November 2023.
This choice was made after she split from Adam Cortez, her lawyer from the beginning of her legal case.
On November 8, 2023, Hajia4Real filed a request for a change of counsel with the US court. On November 9, 2023, the request was approved.
She then hired Ms. Eleanor Fast of “The Fast Law Firm PC” to take care of her case moving forward.
Her choice to change attorneys was made for reasons that were not made public.
