The Minister for Fisheries and Aquaculture, Mavis Hawa Koomson has been appointed as a caretaker minister for food and agriculture following Dr. Osei Akoto’s resignation.
Following the resignation of the Food and Agriculture minister, Hon Mavis Hawa Koomson has been appointed as caretaker minister for the ministry.
Mavis Hawa Koomson, the Ghanaian member of parliament who doubles as the minister of Fisheries and Aquaculture has been tasked to take care of the Ministry of Food and Agriculture following the resignation of the minister in-charge of the Ministry.
The outgoing minister for Food and Agriculture, Osei Akoto is believed to have resigned in order to pursue his presidential ambition in the New Patriotic Party.
Until a substantive minister is appointed, Mavis Hawa Koomson will man the Food and Agriculture Ministry.
