Ghana’s esteemed highlife musician, K.K. Kabobo, has passed away today after a battle with liver disease.

According to reports, the renowned “Onyame Ehu Wu” hitmaker was swiftly taken to the University of Ghana Medical Center (UGMC) for urgent medical attention but was pronounced dead upon arrival on Thursday, March 14.

This saddening news comes just a few weeks after the veteran musician publicly disclosed his illness.

It was disclosed that the singer had been grappling with ill health for several months, and the financial resources available to the family for his treatment were insufficient.
