According to social media accounts, a horrific accident occurred on the Accra-Kumasi road in Tantra Hills on Thursday morning, killing one person.

One of the victims, believed to be a female, lost her right arm and was brought to the hospital for treatment.

According to X user @Official_BigJay, bystanders helped dismantle the damaged Benz C300 to rescue a trapped motorist who died before police got on the site.

The sad situation was caused by a large vehicle that had broken down and was parked in the center of the highway with no danger signs to indicate its condition.
