Renowned Afrobeats sensation, King Promise, exudes confidence as he eyes the prestigious Artiste of the Year award at the upcoming Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA).

In a recent interview on New Day, dated May 13, King Promise emphasized the tireless efforts of his team in creating exceptional music not only for the current award period but also over the years.

While acknowledging the talent of his fellow nominees in the Artiste of the Year category, King Promise, renowned for hits like ‘Terminator,’ firmly asserted his belief in his worthiness for the coveted accolade.

“I hold immense respect for all my competitors, but the body of work we’ve produced speaks for itself. We’ve poured our hearts into our craft, and I firmly believe that I am deserving of the Artiste of the Year title,” he confidently stated.

King Promise also lauded the growth of Ghana’s music industry and commended the Ghana Music Awards for annually recognizing the hard work of musicians.

With three nominations across categories like Artiste of the Year, International Collaboration of the Year, and Most Popular Song of the Year, King Promise has garnered significant attention from industry insiders.

Notably, acclaimed music producer and sound engineer KillBeatz has thrown his weight behind King Promise, endorsing him as the frontrunner for the Artiste of the Year award, citing his invaluable contributions to elevating Ghanaian and African music.
