Ghanaian rapper Kwesi Arthur has revealed his wish to collaborate with Highlife artist Kojo Antwi, whom he really admires.
According to the Kwesi Arthur, he grew up listening to “Mr. Music Man”.
“My auntie had a Kojo Antwi CD. And I went to go take it from her room, and I played that over and over.”
The ‘Grind Day’ hitmaker stated that his compositions, instrumentals, and melodies were what drew him to Kojo Antwi’s song.
“His compositions, how his instrumentals sounded, the words he used, and his melodies were really heartfelt.”
Kwesi Arthur said that Kojo Antwi has control over his music, which he admires.
In an interview with Kafui Dey on GTV’s Breakfast Show, the celebration hitmaker also said that his uncle used to play hip-hop music, but he was more into African music.
“I was usually into the African music. You know, VIP, P Square, 2 Face, TIC Tac..”
Kwesi Arthur went on to describe his life in Tema, stating it’s dynamic and a nice location to live.
