Shatta Wale, a dancehall performer, is supposedly upset that his former “staff,” Bullgod, may have leaked the details of his upcoming album, and he is threatening to retaliate.
The ‘On God’ hitmaker, Shatta Wale has given notice that he will explain what he claims happened in relation to the murder of late artiste manager Fennec Okyere.
Shatta Wale stated on Facebook that he is willing to tell any court what Bullgod informed him regarding the murder of Fennec Okyere, the manager of Kwaw Kese
He stated, “Bull Dog, since you are bringing out secrets, you will tell Ghanaians what happen to Fenicks (sic) Murder!! And I am not joking about this time!! I am ready to tell the court about what you told me about you and your men and how planned that foolish act, get ready. This Akufo Addo won’t give you a murder (sic) chance to be on our streets!!! Watch how this ends!!! You can’t fight time!!!”
In their ongoing beef, Bullgod allegedly revealed the list of artists that will appear on the songs on Shatta Wale’s upcoming album, “Gift of God” (GOG).
Fennec Okyere, the manager of a controversial musician Kwaw Kese, was slain by unknown assailants on Thursday, March 13 at his Manet Gardens apartment on Spintex Road in Accra. He died at the age of 31.
Bullgod, born Lawrence Nana Asiama Hanson, was apprehended by the Police Criminal Investigative Department after his death (CID).
He was apprehended at Kokomlemle, an Accra suburb, as a suspect in the death of Fennec Okyere.
This was due to Bullgod (then known as Bulldog), who had a history of feuding with Fennec Okyere, allegedly threatening him in an interview.
Bullgod was charged with conspiracy to commit murder on the police charge sheet, but his plea was not taken.
Bullhaus Entertainment CEO was released from prison in 2017 after then-Attorney-General Gloria Akuffo stated that the state was no longer interested in prosecuting Bulldog for the alleged murder of Fennec Okyere.
Bullgod, meanwhile, has constantly denied any involvement in the murder of Fennec Okyere. He even asserted during a 2020 interview that their disagreement with the deceased was preplanned.
In a 2022 interview on Hitz FM, he maintained his innocence adding that he never threatened Fennec Okyere despite their disagreements.
