For the match against Portugal, Joseph Wollacott, who wasn’t named to the final 2022 World Cup roster, will go to Qatar to be with the team.
On Tuesday, November 22, goalkeeper Joseph Wollacott will go to Doha to support the Black Stars in their opening Group H match on Thursday.
Two days prior to the encounter against the European nation, he will join the Black Stars.
Wollacott, who was essential to Ghana’s World Cup qualification but missed the tournament due to injury, plans to visit and encourage his teammates ahead of Thursday’s opening game against Portugal.
At the 971 Stadium in Doha, the Black Stars’ season will get underway against the previous European Champions.
Later, Ghana will play South Korea and Uruguay in Group H
