Dancehall artist Kaakie has officially announced her return to the music scene.
After leaving Ghana in 2018 to pursue further studies in the United States, her hiatus was a result of the termination of her contract with the High-Grade family.
In a recent interview with Accra’s 3FM, Kaakie shared her plans to make a comeback, expressing her enthusiasm for rejoining the music industry. Despite the challenges that led to her temporary departure, she revealed that she now has the support of her spouse and other well-known musicians.

With this backing, Kaakie is optimistic about her return and is determined to carve out a niche for herself in the competitive music scene.
“Actually I came in purposely…So by God’s grace, I’m coming back to the scene, and we are working hard. I haven’t just been silent.
“I have been working behind the scenes and I haven’t been alone. I’ve had genuine support from my husband; he’s been pushing me, and I’ve also met people that were in the scene,” she said on Accra-based 3Fm.
