“The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration wishes to inform the public that the Republic of Kenya, in recognition of the existing visa-free regime agreement between the Republic of Kenya and the Republic of Ghana, has announced that Ghanaian travelers will now be issued an Electronic Travel Authorization (ETA) free of charge upon application for travel to Kenya.”
The statement further urged Ghanaians to submit their ETA applications through the specified website for approval prior to their departure, highlighting the significance of this new development.
The ETA, which serves as official authorization for entry into Kenya, can now be obtained at no cost. Previously, travelers had to pay a fee for this document, but the new policy removes that requirement, making travel between the two countries more accessible and streamlined.
