Popular Ghanaian musician, Dennis Nana Dwamena, widely known as KIDI, has addressed speculations surrounding the condition of Kuami Eugene’s health following a recent accident on Sunday, March 17.
In an interview with Kwadwo Sheldon, the ‘Danger’ crooner stressed that it’s typical for assumptions to surface in such situations but assured the public of Kuami Eugene’s satisfactory condition.
“Everything is under control. It’s natural for people to react differently to such incidents. Rest assured, he’ll recover,” KIDI emphasized.
The accident occurred close to the DSTV office near the Dzorwulu traffic light in Accra.

Emmanuel Ajarfor Abugri, an editor at Modern Ghana, was an eyewitness to the incident. He reported that Kuami Eugene’s car collided with a slow-moving tipper truck around 11:30 pm.
Abugri attributed the accident to the lack of street lights on the dark N1 highway and the absence of a tail light on the tipper truck, which compromised visibility.
He commended Kuami Eugene’s cautious driving for averting a potentially fatal outcome.
Upon closer inspection, Abugri discovered that Kuami Eugene was accompanied by one male passenger in the car.
Good Samaritans at the scene promptly assisted in transporting them to the hospital while awaiting police intervention.
Their label, Lynx Entertainment, confirmed on Monday that Kuami Eugene was responding positively to treatment, providing assurance to the public regarding his well-being.
