A short while after his harrowing car accident, highlife artist Kuami Eugene debuted a fresh track titled “Canopy.”
The collision involving his Range Rover and a tipper truck occurred at CP, near the DSTV office, en route to the Dzowulu traffic light in Accra, resulting in significant damage.
As a result of the accident, he sustained injuries to his leg, hip, lips, and a broken arm.
“Canopy,” in contrast to the prevailing themes in mainstream music, offers a unique perspective on overcoming challenges and seeking divine protection.

The artist released the song as a testament to his survival from the life-threatening accident on March 17, 2024.
