Providing an update during a durbar held at the Old Ghanata Astroturf in Dodowa on Friday, May 16 — part of his ongoing “Thank You Tour” — the President shared encouraging news about the Vice President’s recovery.
“I bring warm regards from Her Excellency the Vice President, Prof. Naana Jane Opoku-Agyemang,” Mahama said. “I had a conversation with her on Thursday, May 15, and I’m pleased to inform you that she’ll be back home before the week is over.”
He added, “Thanks to God’s grace, she has made a full recovery and is ready to resume her official responsibilities.”
