Hon.Felix Kwakye Ofosu, the Minister responsible for government communications, has announced that the Mahama administration is intensifying efforts to reduce public expenditure, beginning with the Jubilee House and extending across all government institutions.
He revealed that no office within the Jubilee House is permitted to subscribe to DStv or any satellite television services. This, he said, is part of a broader strategy to curb unnecessary spending in government.
According to the Minister, President John Dramani Mahama remains committed to avoiding any waste of taxpayers’ money.
He is also ensuring that all government appointees adopt a lifestyle of modesty and responsibility, refraining from any form of extravagance in their official duties.
