Rudi Garcia, the manager of Al-Nassr, lamented the opportunities his team lost. During their Saudi Super Cup semifinal match, the team stumbled to a loss. Cristiano Ronaldo had a chance to end his goalless streak but blew it.
According to Rudi Garcia, Cristiano Ronaldo’s miss in the first half was the deciding factor in the Saudi Super Cup loss to Al-Ittihad.
Rudi Garcia, the coach of Al-Nassr, has appeared to blame Cristiano Ronaldo for his team’s exit from the Saudi Super Cup. Garcia’s team, led by their new superstar, lost to Al-Ittihad 3-1 on Thursday night to exit the tournament in the semi-finals.
After Romarinho gave Al-Ittihad the lead after only 15 minutes, the Portuguese forward had a clear shot on goal in the first half but was unable to convert. Garcia believes that a different result might have occurred if Ronaldo had not flubbed his lines at that critical moment.

The French manager told reporters after the match. “One of the things that changed the course of the match was Cristiano Ronaldo’s missed opportunity in the first half.”

Abderrazak Hamdallah scored for Al-Ittihad, who took advantage of the respite to double their lead before the half. In the 67th minute, Anderson Talisca did score to give the Tigers hope of a comeback, but Muhannad Shanqeeti’s goal in stoppage time gave the Tigers the victory.
