Francis Asenso-Boakye, the Minister of Roads and Highways, has announced that discussions have begun with stakeholders regarding the resumption of road toll collection in Ghana.
The Minister mentioned that if tolls are reinstated, they would be digitized and automated. This decision aims to generate funds for the maintenance of existing roads in the country. Asenso-Boakye emphasized the need to view this as a national development issue and urged against politicizing the decision.
