Collins Mensah, a mobile money vendor, has fled with the business capital of his employer, identified as Ms. Rosina.

According to Rainbow Radio Accra, Ms. Rosina filed a complaint with the police, claiming that the suspect absconded with Ms. Rosina’s business capital, totaling Gh¢20,600.

Ms. Rosina, a mobile money operator, enlisted the help of Collins Mensah, also known as Pharmacy, to aid in the expansion of her business.

Yet, in under a month of being employed, the young man decided to betray her trust by stealing from her.

“I saw that he could do that work, so I employed him, but he said he wouldn’t be able to survive if he had to wait till the end of the month to receive his salary, so I decided to give him 20 cedis monthly and was taking care of his health bills too.”

Ms. Nancy shared on Rainbow Radio Accra, “I was unwell on the 29th, so I didn’t go to work. My mother informed me that Collins had locked the shop. When I called him 16 times, there was no answer. I never expected he would betray me like this. Upon reaching there, I found he had taken Gh¢20,600 and left the rest in the shop.”
