Liverpool star Mo Salah has been criticized by Muslim fans for taking pictures of his Christmas tree with his wife and daughters, which read ‘#MerryChristmas’ on social media.

Salah, a Muslim, tagged the photo with “#MerryChristmas” on his Twitter and Instagram accounts.

The Egyptian once again shared a congratulatory message on social media and appeared with a family holding a Christmas tree.

Liverpool striker Mohammed Salah has drawn both praise and criticism for wishing his fans a Merry Christmas to him.

Mo Salah have made it a tradition for years to send Christmas greetings on social media.

In his posts over the years, Salah can be seen dressed for the occasion, relaxing in his pajamas and holding a tree festooned with Christmas decorations and presents.

His Christmas 2022 post has again upset many fans who think he shouldn’t be celebrating Christmas.

Although Muslims do not traditionally celebrate Christmas, some participate in celebrations that take place on Christian holidays.

Mo Salah and his family (his wife Magi and daughters Makkah and Kayan) posed in matching pajamas to his traditional Christmas mail.

‘One fan called him the “African Goat”.

“For us you are Lionel Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo and Kylian Mbappe put together. Have fun,” they said.

Another fan wrote, “The most anticipated Christmas mail of the year. Merry Christmas

Others claim Salah’s annual Christmas mail has been a source of Liverpool’s bane, after posting a similar image on his social media in 2020. He didn’t win a single game in a row.
