The Nigerian entertainment industry mourns the loss of renowned actor Amaechi Muonagor, who passed away at the age of 62.
The news of Muonagor’s demise was confirmed by prominent social media commentator Morris Monye, who expressed deep sorrow over the loss of the talented actor. Monye shared his grief on his official social media handle, describing Muonagor as a masterful presence on screen.
“We watched with concern as he battled health issues, offering whatever support we could to help him seek treatment in India. This tragic loss highlights the need for better healthcare in our country,” Monye shared in his post.

Muonagor’s death adds to the recent losses suffered by the Nollywood community, following the passing of Mr. Ibu (John Okafor) on March 2, 2024.
