Nora Häuptle has been named Head Coach of the Senior Women’s National Team, also known as the Black Queens.
“Nora former Swiss International is a graduate of the University of Bern, where she earned her Masters in Sports Sciences, as well as a Bachelor of Philosophy and a Minor in Theatre Sciences.
“The 39-year-old holds a UEFA Pro Licence certificate and has previously worked as an Instructor for the Swiss Football Association,” the Ghana FA said in an official statement on Thursday, January 5.
According to the Ghana Football Association, Nora Häuptle, a Swiss coach, has been named the new head coach of the Black Queens (GFA).
Nora Häuptle will be supported by Joyce Boatey-Agyei and Aboagye Dacosta during her time with the Black Queens.
Joyce Boatey-Agyei was previously the head of physical education at Kumasi Girls Senior High School, in addition to tutoring and coaching.

Former Asante Kotoko player Aboagye Dacosta is the head coach of Ashtown Ladies in Kumasi’s Women’s Premier League.
The Black Queens’ new technical team has already begun working to prepare for the third WAFU Zone B Women’s Cup of Nations in 2023 and the 2024 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
