Hiplife legend Okyeame Kwame and actor Prince David Osei have been selected to the New Patriotic Party’s manifesto committee by flagbearer Dr Mahamudu Bawumia.
They are members of the party’s tourism, arts, and culture sub-committee, which is chaired by Juliet Yaa Asantewaa Asante, Executive Secretary of the National Film Authority (NFA), and Akwasi Agyemang, Chief Executive Officer of the Ghana Tourism Authority.
Other members include Catherine Abelema Afeku, former Minister of Tourism, Arts, and Culture; Dr. Ama Boafo-Arthur; Prof. Issahatu Adam; and Claudia Lumor, founder of the Glitz Style Awards.
This was stated in a statement signed by the Communications Director of Vice President Dr. Bawumia’s campaign team, the NPP flagbearer.

“Following the announcement of the committee Chairperson for the 2024 Manifesto Committee, the flag bearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has appointed the complete membership of the Manifesto Committee for the 2024 general elections.”

Okyeame Kwame is a musician that has been engaged in the Ghanaian music scene for over 20 years. He is well-known for his socially aware lyrics and his unique blend of traditional Ghanaian music, hip-hop, and other genres.
Prince David Osei, an actor and fashion designer, has acted in a number of Ghanaian films and television shows. He is also well-known for his work with several fashion labels.
