The Parliament of Ghana has on 6th December, 2022 approved the 2023 economic budget and policy statement of the Akufo-Addo led government.

Following the minority’s decision of not accepting the budget over claims that it will bring more sufferings to the Ghanaian populace.

After the debates on the budget and economic policy statement, the house gave approval to the budget.

Acceptance of the budget was aired by the speaker of parliament on voice. The minority caucus of the house argued over the increase in some taxes.

The budget and economic policy statement was however approved.
