President John Dramani Mahama has officially sworn in 42 ministers, completing a key step in forming his administration exactly one month after his own inauguration.
The swift approval process by Parliament, with some ministers cleared by consensus and others through a majority vote, highlights the urgency of assembling a functional government to tackle pressing national issues.
During the swearing-in ceremony, President Mahama emphasized the need for his appointees to lead with humility and a deep sense of responsibility. He cautioned against extravagant lifestyles, urging them to remain conscious of the economic hardships faced by ordinary Ghanaians.

The latest batch of 17 ministers who took the oath of office include:

- Salisu Bi-Awuribe – Minister for Savannah Region

- Kwabena Mintah Akandoh – Minister for Health
