Asafo Frances Bubune hails from Saviefe, in the Volta region of Ghana, resides in Akosombo located in the Eastern region of Ghana. The only female child of two (2) siblings with an elderly brother and a younger brothers. Miss. Asafo finds interest in dancing, listening to music, acting and trying out new things.
She started her basic school education at Learning Field International School(LEFISCO) then continued to V.R.A COMPLEX NO. 2 and completed in 2014. She later gained admission to Krobo Girls’ Presbyterian Senior High School where she offered General Science and completed in 2017. She later gained admission at the University of Health and Allied Sciences(UHAS – Ho). Currently in her third year pursing Bachelor of Science in Midwifery of which she had the opportunity to serve as course representative for three academic years.
Bubune’s love and passion for media work led her to work with UHAS BASE TV as a host to the “The ladies Hub” show. As a devoted christian, she also served in different portfolios at church; Assistant Ministerial Head of Unfading Glory(a creative group that ministers through spoken word, drama, choreography, etc), Head usher, and currently the Treasurer elect. Also, Frances is the appointed Head of Health and Education of the Nursing and Midwifery Students’ Association of UHAS (UHAS-NAMSA)
She’s currently a contestant of the maiden edition of VOLTA TERTIARY QUEEN (VTQ) pageantry and she believes it will bring her a step closer to realizing her dreams.
