Reverend Isaac Owusu-Bempah, the founder and leader of Glorious Word Power Ministries International, has urged caution when attempting to predict the outcome of the 2024 general election, emphasizing its spiritual significance.
He cautioned that the election’s outcome is shrouded in uncertainty and that any prophecy about it is likely to be inaccurate.
“In the current climate, Ghana’s 2024 election is fraught with uncertainty. Anyone confidently predicting a winner should proceed with caution because circumstances are constantly changing,” he stated in an interview with Kwame Nkrumah Tikese of Okay FM on Wednesday, April 3, 2024.
Owusu-Bempah emphasized that the upcoming election is primarily a spiritual battle, with the candidate enjoying the strongest spiritual support expected to emerge victorious.

“The election is a spiritual battle. The candidate with the strongest spiritual backing will ascend to the presidency,” he asserted.
Owusu-Bempah’s comments follow a recent visit to his church by the New Patriotic Party (NPP) flagbearer, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, during the Easter season.
During Dr. Bawumia’s visit, Owusu-Bempah provided him with a special chair and offered a prayer for him. However, he clarified that his actions were not intended as an endorsement.
“I presented Dr. Bawumia with a chair during his visit to my church because he appeared fatigued from his Easter engagements, not as a symbolic endorsement,” Owusu-Bempah explained in an interview with Okay FM.
