Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, the Member of Parliament for the North Tongu constituency, has demonstrated compassion towards the national service personnel serving in his constituency by providing them with non-refundable cash grants.
Taking to Facebook, Ablakwa announced, “In the spirit of Easter, I have offered non-refundable cash grants to all 110 National Service Personnel serving in my beloved North Tongu.”

He elaborated that this gesture serves as a modest form of support and solidarity aimed at assisting the personnel, who have gone without their allowances for periods ranging from 3 to 5 months.
Ablakwa expressed gratitude for the sacrifices made by the service personnel, particularly highlighting their efforts in aiding the community by providing relief to thousands of VRA flood victims.
