In an information gathered by Ted New Ghana, Cynthia Quarcoo, the Founder and Managing Partner of CQ Legal & Consulting and Legal aid to Rapper Sarkodie has passed on.
As of now, the cause of her death has not been disclosed. Cynthia Quarcoo’s death is not only a loss to the legal profession but also a significant blow to the entertainment industry in Ghana, as she was known for establishing a specialized entertainment, sports, and media practice within her law firm.
Cynthia had over 15 years of experience representing institutional clients and governments, with expertise in corporate/commercial law, banking, finance, capital markets, and specialization in the energy, financial, and infrastructure sectors, as well as environmental, social, and governance (ESG) matters.
The news of her passing was confirmed by Tracey Owusu Addo, the wife of rapper Sarkodie, who shared a tweet expressing her sorrow with a broken heart emoji. She also attached a picture of Cynthia Quarcoo alongside Sarkodie and their daughter Titi.
The loss of Cynthia Quarcoo will undoubtedly be deeply felt by her colleagues, clients, and the entertainment community in Ghana. Our thoughts and condolences go out to her family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time.
