Following the national team’s historic victory over Argentina at the World Cup in Qatar, Saudi Arabia has declared Wednesday a public holiday for all employees and students.
King Salman agreed to Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman’s proposal to declare a holiday to commemorate the national team’s victory.

According to the Saudi Press Agency, all public and private sector employees and students at all educational levels will be given a holiday.
The holiday comes after the Kingdom pulled off the biggest World Cup shock by defeating Argentina 2-1 at Doha’s Lusail Stadium.
