A video circulating on social media purportedly shows 35-year old Serial Killer, Richard Tetteh confessing to his involvement in the murder of three individuals, allegedly at the direction of a chop bar operator.
In the video, Tetteh, handcuffed and dressed in worn-out shorts and a T-shirt, is seen being interrogated in an office setting. He admits to carrying out the murders, stating that he was instructed to collect body fluids from the mouth and vaginal area of the victims by a woman who operates a chop bar.
According to Tetteh’s confession, he was paid 500 Ghana cedis for each operation by the chop bar operator, who would signal him when she wanted more victims.
The crimes are believed to have taken place in the Odumase Krobo region, where several murder cases have occurred. One such incident, in February 2024, involved the discovery of a woman’s body near the Otorkporlu Bridge off the Odumase-Asesewa Highway. The victim, believed to be in her 30s, was found partially unclothed with signs of severe violence, including the removal of her tongue and genitals.
