President Nana Dankwa Akufo-Addo, in his State of the Nation Address to Parliament on February 27, stated that Ghana is on the path to recovery and turning around despite past challenges. He expressed optimism about the country’s ability to overcome difficulties and move forward.
The President emphasized the resilience of the Ghanaian spirit, stating, “Yenim ko, yen nim adwane,” which translates to “We know how to fight; we know how to endure.” He highlighted the strength of the Ghanaian people in facing adversity.

As part of his address, President Akufo-Addo announced the upcoming launch of a performance tracker, scheduled for March. This tool aims to ensure transparency and accountability in the implementation of infrastructure projects across the country. The tracker is designed to address concerns about the accuracy and reliability of project presentations, particularly the use of artist’s impressions.
The President stressed the importance of upholding standards and delivering tangible benefits to the public through effective project implementation.
