A 26-year-old Ghanaian man named Stephen Nartey Takitey has received approval from Guinness World Records to submit his application in an attempt to shatter the record for the most football (soccer) socks put on in 30 seconds.
Tema native Takitey filed his application in June and was notified on November 28 that he had been accepted.
“Hello Stephen Takitey, We are happy to notify you that your application, with the title “Most football (soccer) socks put on in 30 seconds,” has been approved.Guinness World Records responds to Stephen with this statement.
On December 21, Stephen Nartey Takitey will try to beat the world record at Tema.
Currently holding the record for the most normal socks is Slovakian Pavol Durdik.
