Stonebwoy has triumphed as ‘Artiste of the Year‘ at the 25th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA), held at the Grand Arena, Accra International Conference Center.
The renowned dancehall and reggae artist outshone strong contenders including Black Sherif, King Promise, Kuami Eugene, Nacee, and Sarkodie.
Despite the fierce competition, Stonebwoy’s exceptional contributions to music secured him the prestigious title.
Alongside ‘Artiste of the Year,’ Stonebwoy garnered five additional awards: Best International Collaboration, Best Reggae/Dancehall Artiste, Songwriter of the Year, Record of the Year, Album/EP of the Year, and Best Dancehall Artiste.

Surrounded by friends and family, he expressed his gratitude upon receiving the awards.
The TGMA ceremony took place on Saturday, June 1, 2024, at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre, celebrating musicians’ achievements over the past year.
In March 2024, the Ghana Music Award Academy Board revealed the nominees for the 25th TGMA, featuring categories such as Artiste of the Year, Record of the Year, Album of the Year, Song of the Year, and Best New Artist.
The Ghana Music Academy Board consists of professionals from all facets of the music industry, including recording artists, songwriters, producers, mixers, and engineers, ensuring a diverse and comprehensive judging panel.
